Question:
What was Sandridge Tower, above Bromham, built as?

Answer:
Sandridge Tower was a late 19th century folly. It is octagonal, of four storeys, with one window to alternate sides. There is a battlemented parapet on the roof. It was converted to a house and is now (2003) a nursing home.
