Song Lyrics
Verse 1

Blessed are the sons of peace
They sing a cheerful song,
Their voices raise and sing His praise:
This day a Saviour's born.

Verse 2

Hark, hark! The voice from heaven:
In Bethl'em you may see
A child wrapped up in swaddling bands
With Peace and Unity.

Verse 3

Our hallelujah praise
With sacred honours pay,
And loud hosannas shall proclaim
The triumphs of this day.

Verse 4

Go spread the news abroad:
The great Messiah's born:
And angels sing a Saviour's birth
With every voice a song.

Verse 5

Rejoice, mankind on earth,
We'll sing with one accord:
With ten-stringed instruments we'll sing
All people praise the Lord.

Verse 6

Praise Him upon the throne
Where zeal and friendship meet,
The King of Kings, the Lord of Lords:
Sing hallelujahs sweet.
