The Lamb is the only remaining public house in the village and is believed to have been licensed since the 17th century, although it is not mentioned in directories until the second quarter of the 20th century; the timber framed building dates from the 17th century. Until fairly recently there were four public houses in the parish with the Nag's Head in the High Street and the Bell and Clock Inn on the main road at Lydeway. |
